Mending a Broken Heart

Shattered was the word,
pieces by pieces it fell
All the lingering memories,
gone with a dying spell

Out of the flames and amber,
a broken heart emerge
Burned and in pieces,
In cold waters submerged

One by one the stars fell down,
as the tears drops on the ground
A broken heart is is nearly exhausted,
dying in every second it pounds

One by one, I took the broken pieces,
and mend it with the remaining part
It was difficult to repair with missing pieces,
because it was not for the sake of art

One by one, I connected the pieces,
and the broken part was nearly complete
Although the stitches ruined it's former beauty,
seeing it fixed make it look unique

Mending a broken heart is not that easy,
when the one who causes it pushes deep
As long as you got patience and confidence,
heartaches won't lullaby you to sleep
