Why Should I Mourn?

Why should I mourn?
when he lived his life alone

He traveled all of the lands,
and crossed the dessert sands

Why should I mourn?
when crossed the line alone

For he ate the finest rice,
treated us like little mice

Why should I mourn?
when left me to grow alone

Now his flesh is eaten away,
my sentiments are not of gray

For splendorous time he enjoyed,
and the responsibilities he avoids

Why should I mourn?
when his own blood already sworn
