Freelancing #16

We stand here in an empty place,
no shadows of night, no light of days
We simply stare at each other eye to eye,
where can we see each other on truths and lies?

Once we simply could not care,
we live on long and pointless despair
When will our hearts open and embrace,
all the love and trust we need for all the days

Sometimes we sleep on harsh words,
sometimes we rise on kind thoughts
None of us really knows the true worth,
of all the happiness and pain on this earth

We stand here in an empty place,
no shadows of night, no light of days
We simply stare at each other eye to eye,
where can we see each other on truths and lies?

Freelancing #15

A summer filled with hopes and dreams,
of youthful strength and an age old fear
A subject of ridicule from all her peers,
now she promises to not shed a single tear

With vigor and pure determination, she marched,
fearing no obstacle; to combat the might of the storm
Looking up to the sky, she prayed before she charged,
with the wind in on her side; breaking all wrongful norms

As the days go by and by she grew tired,
placed her wings to rest and looked up to her sire
Of all the creatures who cried out to heaven she was beloved,
her cause was that voice of the millions and not of a hundred

In every hearts she is still remembered dearly,
for she lived and she died with us everyday
She is born when we see new things happily,
will we let her die as we turn dreams to dismay?

Freelancing #14

Will you hold me close tonight, my love?
It seems like I'm losing all the warmth
I lost all the joy and I sit down and sob,
all the happy days seems to go back and it haunts

I ponder on a hopeless memory of us,
the colors of yesterday, the bliss of the past
I wonder if it was just a merry day,
when we promised ourselves to stay until the last

Will you hold me in your arms tonight, my love?
It seems like my days are at it's last
I was smiling before your words go and drop,
those phrases I wished I should had passed

Look at the night sky and see all the stars,
they lit up the heavens and it was made for us
But it seems that fate has written a different ending,
so we drew ourselves out of fantasy; was it lack of trust?

Will you hold me close tonight, my love?
It seems like I'm missing all the hugs
I lost all the joy and I sit down and sob,
why did we end all so very hard?

Freelancing #13

Thanks for all the memories,
they sure won't last
Thanks for all the melodies,
I know they will all pass

Thanks for all those sweet words,
even thought they're not meant for me
Thanks for all those bitter words,
and all the blasphemies I see

With all of the care you gave,
you kept a very long record
With all the tears I saved,
you kept it to my own accord

Thanks for all the kisses,
and your gentle and loving embrace
I thought you were a princess,
but your beauty faded along with the days

Freelancing #12

Too good to be true,
a day full of memories
So sweet; the kiss of morning dew,
but worn out by many entities

A star that passes by,
too bright to gaze upon
Look as it says "Good bye",
and leave all things undone

Roses that withered through time,
they all carry sad sentiments
Will I let it grow or die?
They're all annoying statements

Too good to be true,
a night full of promises
So bitter; the embrace of evening dew,
as this aching heart goes restless

Blew a kiss so tender,
and embraced by loving arms,
The time came for sweet surrender,
it left and denied all the harm

Too good to be true,
a dawn full of mysteries
Gaze at the midst of the ocean blue,
forget all the pain and tyrannies

Freelancing #11

As soon as the flames die out,
I'll be running back from the start
Maybe I'll just forget all my doubt,
and unwind this war-torn heart

I don't know the taste of wine,
but a sip can make me better
I wished I can have all your time,
but it makes me more drunk than sober

Our love was about to grow,
but uncertainty weakened it to death
I could have reaped what I sowed,
but we suppressed it until its last breath

Our past haunted our future,
and forged us to be lame
But our hearts doesn't need torture,
so let's stop playing this painful game

As soon as the fire die out,
I'll be searching for those broken parts
Maybe I'll just ignore all my doubts,
and rewind myself back from the start

Freelancing #10

She'll look to the east and to the west,
seeking where her mind can be put to rest.

Going to sleep on rain and mask her pain,
preventing her troubles to stop her gain.

With palms wide open, she accepted it all,
she never fears of getting hurt or taking the fall.

With all she'd been through, her soul is strong,
it can't be weakened or destroyed by any sad song.

Let the clouds of heaven be her pillows tonight,
let her angels comfort her and embrace her very tight.
